Hippie Summer almost here!

May may may, so close to summer you can almost feel it!
I love this hippie trend that is going on, big earings, rings and hats, I just love everything about it!

You can pull it off just by wearing something oversized that flattered your bone structure or an unique piece that stands from the rest of your outfit.

Nicole has definitely the Boho-Chic dominated, but don't you love Vanessa Hudgens super long earing? Check that shes only wearing it in one ear, what makes it particular.
The good thing about this trend is that you can wear something you already have at home and give it the turn with accesories.

warming hugs from summer for you!

LOVE IT or HATE IT WEDNESDAY

So, its been a while
I guess its always hard just to get back to the rutine after a vacation. Rio was just perfect and Im taking my time to process things and realize I need to get to work ASAP.

So WEDNESDAY! yaaaay!
I was looking at past posts and I've never had a "hate it" item. I was browsing the net, you guys blogs and magazines trying to find something that I hate, but its just difficult. Looking it this way, theres no room for creativity or even edgyness.... I found this Nicholas Kirkwood collection for his showroom for Paris Fashion Week, and although I dont hate them, they are just not my favorite pair of heels....

I admire Kirkwood because of his imagination and perspective. His shoes pull off the classic futuristic-looking and are always interesting.... so what do u guys think about this DON KING SHOE, made out of black leather with a stiff stand-up ruff of black goat hair???

haha its fun tho! I give him that

Brazilian Paradise

Hello to all of you!!!!
I got back from Brazil yesterday and I had the time of my life! I seriously didn't expect to have THAT much fun! but everything about it was just great! Amazing food, great parties, beautiful people and perfect weather. The shoe fair was awesome. Saw a lot of crazy, different and stylish pair of heels and boots. The shoe cluster in Porto Alegre is huge, and I learned a lot about it.

Then vacations at Rio were just perfect.
I have tons and tons of pictures to show you, but I have to run right now. I was looking at the TrendMe.net 15 city girls finalist and I love every single one of them! Its gonna be a tough decision, but all of them are already winners! So congrats to all.

If you get the chance to go to Brazil, you MUST visit Buzios! a beautiful place 3 hours away from Rio de Janeiro. here some shots :)

What's inspiration?

in·spi·ra·tion/ˌinspəˈrāSHən/Noun
1. The process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, esp. to do something creative: "flashes of inspiration".
2. The quality of having been so stimulated, esp. when evident in something: "a moment of inspiration in an otherwise dull display".

Yeah, how about to take THIS

...and come up with THIS

copy much? haha, I dont care... I loved that picture as I saw it and decided to have a photoshoot of my own and see what I could bring to the table. I'm so pleased with the result I had to share it with you!

I leave for Brazil in 9 hours and right now my room looks like this
cellphone pic, dont judge!

I'll try to update from there, but I really hope I don't have time to do it for all the fun activities and tanning I'm gonna be doing :)
see u later

Fun at the MoMA

Visiting The Museum of Modern Art in New York City
its a must done if you ever come to the big apple! Even if you're not a compulsive nerd (which I'm not haha), you will enjoy your time here like in no other place. Anyways... as educational as may sound, what I found for my surprise the last time I was there was the most original an amazing pieces of jewelery made off acrylic, silicone and other materials  I don't remember.

This goes beyond the basic museum souvenirs. The MoMA is definitely a place of learning an generating inspiration to the new generation of artists. You got to love the abstract shapes and bright colors!!!

LOVE IT or HATE IT WEDNESDAY

From Salvatore Ferragamo to Versace and Boucheron (Remember the Cirque du Soleil jewelery post?). Valentino, Swarovski, Tiffany & Co, Gucci, Dior, Chanel.... you name it!
Everyone would die for one of this watches, yet, some comments about how presumptive the watches were, got me thinking it could make an interesting Love it or Hate it post, and get some encounter decisions.

The world's top watchmakers showed off their latest and greatest in Basel, Switzerland, last week. -From Style.com

So, what do you think about this hot pink in particular?, (a.k.a. 18K Rose Gold) 2 time zones owl watch!!!
I adore owls!!! this couldn't be any cuter!
I would set the time zone of NYC and Brussels. What about you??
